The Effects of the sun on your skin

 


A skincare routine without appropriate ways to guard your skin against to sun rays isn't complete.

Approximately 80-85% of the symptoms of an aging skin is caused by the sun rays. 

The protein fibre in your skin that gives it it's strength and form is referred to as collagen. This looses it's strength gradually as you age and frequent exposure to the sun hastens this process.


Follow these tips to help you guard your skin against aging sun damage:


1. Avoid deliberate exposure to sun.

2. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen( that filters both UVA and UVB) and has an SPF of at least 15 on a daily basis.

3. Apply a sunscreen 30 minutes before going out into the sun

4. Avoid exposure to sun at it's peak usually between 10am and 3pm

5. Carry umbrella around with you Incase you'll need to go under the sun at it's peak times.
